VerseMusic
Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 15, 2026 · Applies to the VerseMusic Microsoft Edge extension and the VerseMusic Android app, made by Araf Studio.

Summary

VerseMusic does not collect, sell or share your personal information. There is no account, no advertising and no analytics or tracking. Your library, favorites, playlists, settings and downloads stay on your own device.

Data stored on your device

VerseMusic keeps the following only inside your browser or app storage (IndexedDB and local storage):

This data is never sent to Araf Studio. It is removed when you uninstall the extension or app, or clear its data. You can also delete downloads inside the app at any time.

Your own audio files

Audio files you add from your device are read locally to show their details and play them. They are never uploaded.

Network requests

When you use the featured streaming playlist, your browser or app requests song files and cover images indirectly from some services.

These services receive normal web request information such as your IP address and browser type, under their own privacy policies. VerseMusic does not send them any other data. In the Android app, the app may also check a Firebase Realtime Database file for the latest app version; no personal data is sent in that check. The Edge extension does not do this, because updates come from Microsoft Edge Add-ons.

Permissions

The extension does not read your browsing history, tabs or page content, and it does not load or run remote code.

Cookies and tracking

VerseMusic does not use cookies, advertising IDs, fingerprinting or third-party analytics.

Children

VerseMusic is a general music player and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
